Site usage terms
These terms cover use of BestRustServers.xyz and the limits of the server data shown.
What the site does. BestRustServers.xyz lists public Rust servers with player counts, wipe history, uptime, rankings and settings. Data is read automatically from Steam's public Rust server list and from servers directly, and refreshes every five minutes. Ranks follow live player data and measured uptime, not payment.
The data is a snapshot, not a guarantee. A server can report a wipe late, publish a misleading name or an incorrect tag, and a player count can lag behind the moment it is read. Settings and wipe cycles on a server page come from what that server publishes; if it changes them, the page follows within about five minutes. Treat any figure as the value last read, not a promise about the server.
Using the site. You can browse and compare servers, including browse all Rust servers, live player counts and the wipe schedule, without an account or payment. Do not send rapid automated requests that slow the site for other players. For bulk access to the dataset, email hello@bestrustservers.xyz.
Crawlers and AI tools. Search engines, bots and AI crawlers may index the site. Read robots.txt and llms.txt first for what is published where, and keep request rates low enough that human visitors still get fast pages.
Server owners. A server appears because it is on the public list; its page shows what the server publishes. To change a name, tag, slot count or wipe time, change it on the server. There is no paid placement and no way to buy a rank.
Not affiliated. BestRustServers.xyz is independent of Facepunch Studios. Rust is a trademark of Facepunch Studios.
Changes. These terms may change without notice; the date below shows the last change. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Questions
Can I use BestRustServers.xyz data in my own project?
The site is free to browse for server comparison, and crawlers are welcome at sensible request rates. For bulk access to the underlying dataset, email hello@bestrustservers.xyz and arrangements can be discussed. Redistributing the data does not carry any guarantee of accuracy.
Why does a server's player count or wipe time differ from what I see in game?
Figures are read from Steam's public server list and from the server itself, refreshed every five minutes, so a page can lag the live server by up to that interval. A server can also publish a late wipe or an inaccurate tag. Treat each figure as the value last read.
Can a server owner pay to rank higher?
No. Rankings are ordered by live player counts and measured uptime, and every server on the site is there because it appears on the public list. A page's content comes from what the server publishes. To correct a name, tag or slot count, change it on the server.
