Rust tutorial servers

This page lists every tracked Rust server with the tutorial tag on or the word tutorial in its name. Rows are ordered by current player count from the live scan, which refreshes every five minutes. Facepunch's tutorial places you on a separate island to gather, craft, build and cook before you join the main map. Large official servers often keep it on, so this list can look like a general popularity chart.

Check the Region and Max group columns before you join a queue. Tutorial does not change gather rate, wipe cycle or team limit: a 2x server stays 2x once you leave the island, and a solo server stays solo. Servers without a stated rate are usually vanilla. Next wipe is a countdown to the estimated wipe, not a live server status; a server may show offline between scans. Where a field is blank, the server has not published that setting and we do not guess it. Region, map size and tick rate come from the server's own broadcast, so treat them as claims we record, not verified facts.

The table below is filtered to this tag only. For other cuts, use play style pages or narrow by rate, region and population on the full server browser. A tag match does not mean a server is friendly to new players, and a low player count does not mean the server is dead: some quiet servers are stable communities with a fixed wipe cycle. If you want a different starting point, the new-player list filters on region, group limit and wipe cycle rather than the tutorial flag. Force wipe and live player counts explain the two numbers players ask about most. Every server row links to its own page at /servers/ with its history graph.
